| | ditzy | ] | ok, so i should get my official offer letter from san jose unified school district sometime early next week. have my emergency credential for the coming year all squared away. had to make waaaay too many trips to sj this week. still have one more to do tomorow but that's to go see my soon to be students put up a show before they take it to scottland for the fringe! oh god am i looking forward to this job. but it was pointed out to me tonight by an inappropriate redhead that it's not really work since it's something i love, but then i pointed out the one period of english that i will have to teach. so i will be working for one period and playing for four. i can deal with that. got to see a show with a bunch of people i met in midsummer tonight which was nice to see so many of them. they're excited for me and my new job and a bunch asked to get my cell number. the innapropriate redhead in particular. despite her having a new boy. who i think is kinda cool. i dunno. she still confuses me greatly. oh, and i found out when hanging at my future job site with my future co-worker that the key thing that got me the job was a recomendation from someone i worked with at ucsb that i completely didn't expect. go figure. it is who you know...just not always the who that you expect. and laura, even if it's not your turn, i'm declaring it your's now.
and just for the record: me: so am i gonna be able to convince you to come and visit me in sj me: ? you: Eventually me: excellent

1) we now need to find you more inappropriate redheads, hopefully a singular one who agrees with everyone else's stance on you 2) fuck yeah job! 3) fringe festival? jesus christo, man! 4) i can't wait to come home and buy you many congratulatory drinks! 5) do we have serenity tickets yet?
ps who was the mystery recommender?
1) that would make her appropriate, wouldn't it? 2) ooooh yeeeaaah!!! 3) yup, they do it every couple years. next year they're gonna do a 6 night, 7 show trip to ny 4) woot! 5) haven't seen them being sold. ps) jen hartley. she's an alum of the school.
